Sorry I haven't blogged in forever! The team has been touring across Florida, skiing in every city. It has been a blast! Browsing on the web, as I like to do, I have recently found a wonderful video that I think every woman, and man, should take the time to watch and appreciate. A group of Girl Scouts in Historic North Georgia spoke their hearts and minds and set the world on fire with this game changing short documentary. It reminded me of an old planet earth documentary style except it was 8 girls talking about women in films... This film discussed a major problem society is facing these days about the inaccurate portrayal of females in films. They had some great points, they were some very enlightened young women. I did some research and discovered that a "Take Action Project" is a common practice of girl scouts who aim to address the ills of society on their way to earn their famous Gold Award. You go girls! These girls really have a good head on their shoulders and have an impressive future ahead of them. These very serious topics were discussed with the utmost seriousness.
